Freddies Achieving their Dreams

The Greeks are recognised as being the fathers of education. Their definition of education was knowledge through the pursuit of leisure.

Freddies understands...

...that too many children are receiving labels of convenience just to get them into a system, which then fails them in terms of their educational needs. We aim to change all that with:

  • Targeted results that match individual abilities
  • Clearly enforced boundaries
  • Individual learning plans
  • Rewards for good behaviour
  • Consequences for bad actions

Typically, 'Freddies' children have been identified as having behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, in conjunction with such other diagnosis as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. Perhaps because of their violent behaviour they will be seen by society as too challenging to be integrated and thus may embark on a path to self destruction.

'Freddies' children need to be nurtured, understood, educated and have their “differences” celebrated, rather than reviled. It is, after all, the differences that make the person.

Freddies provides a learning environment driven by specialists in this field. Freddies is a place where violence is not to be shunned; it simply will not be tolerated.

The children are encouraged to control their own aggression with the provision of appropriate tools and techniques. To help in this process we have expert support staff on hand in our active gym and tranquil therapy areas.
